What a great combination- competition barbeque, family fun, and raising money for charity! Smokin’ in the Square is exactly that and you don’t want to miss being a part of it.

Professional barbeque teams from around the U.S. will gather to compete at Smokin’ in the Square, the first local barbeque contest to be sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS). Professional teams will compete for prize money and points towards being the national barbeque team of the year . Local barbeque enthusiasts also have a chance to compete for prize money and bragging rights in the Backyard competition.

Smokin’ in the Square includes great family fun, entertainment, and food, but the bottom line is local charities are the big winners. We need your help to assure this event is a success so that we can continue this annual event organized by the Knights of Columbus Council 7027 to support local charities.
